Welcome to The Haunted Magnolia Hotel. By booking a reservation, purchasing tickets, attending events, or otherwise visiting our premises, you agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before your stay or participation.
1. General Terms
1.1 Eligibility
Guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Certain experiences and tours may have additional age restrictions for safety and appropriateness.
1.2 Assumption of Risk
By entering The Haunted Magnolia Hotel, you acknowledge and voluntarily accept the inherent risks associated with a historically preserved, allegedly haunted property, including but not limited to unexpected sights, sounds, sensations, and supernatural occurrences. The Hotel is not liable for any distress, fright, injury, or other effects resulting from paranormal activity or environmental factors.
2. Reservations & Cancellations
2.1 Booking Policy for Ghost Tours
Reservations must be secured with a valid credit card. Full payment may be required at the time of booking for special packages, events, or tours. Certain special event bookings are non-refundable and non-transferable once confirmed.
2.2 Cancellation Policy for Overnight Stay Air BnB
Air BnB cancellations can be made up to 5 days before arrival to receive a full refund. Cancellations within 48 hours, no-shows, or early departures are non-refundable period.
3. House Rules
3.1 Conduct
Guests are expected to behave respectfully toward the property, staff, fellow guests, and resident spirits. Aggressive, destructive, or disruptive behavior may result in immediate eviction without refund.
3.2 Prohibited Items
The following are strictly prohibited on hotel grounds: illegal substances, open flames (including candles and incense), unauthorized paranormal investigation equipment, and Ouija boards unless part of a sanctioned event.
3.3 Photography & Recording
Non-commercial photography is permitted in most areas of the hotel. Filming for professional, commercial, or paranormal research purposes requires prior written approval from hotel management.
4. Liability
4.1 Personal Property
The Haunted Magnolia Hotel is not responsible for the loss, theft, or damage of personal belongings. Secure valuables appropriately.
4.2 Injury or Loss
Guests agree to release The Haunted Magnolia Hotel, its owners, affiliates, and staff from any liability for injury, loss, or damage resulting from participation in hotel activities, including but not limited to ghost tours, overnight stays, and paranormal encounters.
5. Privacy Policy
By booking a reservation or attending an event, you consent to the collection and use of your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available upon request at the front desk or online.
6. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
7. Amendments
The Haunted Magnolia Hotel reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. Your continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any changes.
